Yes, pets are welcomed on your property and designated areas only. Off leash dog area is provided for your pets’ pleasure. Pets are prohibited on golf course and playground area ,and there is a three pet maximum per lot.

Yes, the Dorchester Ranch Golf Course Club House has a licensed restaurant which offers limited food and beverage services for the summer months. For fine dining or a great selection of food items, The Village At Pigeon Lake is only 5 minutes away. These restaurants are known for their daily chef specials year-round as well as their fine baked pies and cinnamon buns!

Complete retail facilities are located in the Village at Pigeon Lake which include a postal service outlet, hair salon, day spa, full service drug/grocery store, clothing and household items retailers, restaurants, coffee shops, service station, motel/hotel, medical services, an ATB Bank , art store, and so on. A full service Co-op hardware & food store is located at Falun, just a 10 minute drive west on highway #13.

Yes, a noise bylaw is in place to ensure the communities’ overall enjoyment. Excessive noise is not permitted between 11pm and 8 am.

Yes, you are permitted to put up a black chain link fence no higher than 4 feet. Out building cannot exceed 150 square feet in size and 10 feet in height when built separate from the fire shed. A 3-sided small fire shed is also permitted. If fire shed and out building are combined, a maximum of 200 square feet is permitted. Play stations, tree forts etc. all must be placed on the property within the setbacks guidelines. See our restrictive covenants for full details at our sales center.

Yes, there is a coin operated laundry facility planned for the community as the development grows.

Just 8 minutes away is Pigeon Lake where you can enjoy Ma-Me-O Beach in all its splendor including boat launch, white sand beach, shallow walk-out water level, playground and picnic area, restaurants and public bathrooms. Besides canoeing, sailing, kayaking and other boating activities, Pigeon Lake is known for its great fishing and winter Ice golf tournaments. There are several other smaller lakes in the immediate area as well for your pleasure.

In the area, there are endless activities such as a mini-putt golf course, panning for gold, corn maze, petting zoo, beaches, biking trails, summer kids camp and so on. All roadways will be paved in our community as construction progresses as well as the main road from Highway #13 to our development so there will be no gravel roads to contend with.
